WASTE MANAGEMENT

Our vessels implement rigorous waste management practices to minimize waste generation and ensure responsible disposal. This includes comprehensive recycling programs, effective waste segregation onboard, and adherence to strict environmental standards to safeguard marine ecosystems. Waste minimization and responsible use of resources extends to our onshore facilities, with our new ‘green’ building designed to prioritize energy efficiency and waste recycling.

BALLAST WATER MANAGEMENT

Golden Union rigorously follows regulations with advanced ballast water treatment systems to prevent the spread of invasive species and maintain the balance of marine environments. Our vessels are equipped with advanced ballast water treatment systems to reduce environmental risks.

AIR QUALITY CONTROL

Clean air is fundamental to our health and well-being. We use low-sulfur fuels, and emission control systems for our vessels and continuously monitor exhaust emissions to minimize our impact on air quality.
