EARLY GROWTH
Strategic focus on niche markets fuels phenomenal growth, enabling investment in personnel and expertise, and building the foundation for future success.
FLEET EXPANSION
Golden Union expands its fleet with larger, performance-oriented vessels such as Panamaxes, Kamarmaxes, Post Panamaxes and Capes, becoming a major force in dry bulk transportation.
GLOBAL EXPANSION
The company takes on contracts with large trading houses, achieving a critical mass in dry bulk transportation.
2010 - PRESENT
Golden Union experiences significant growth, nearly doubling its fleet and deadweight tonnage (DWT). The company shifts focus from new-building orders to acquiring high-quality, second-hand ships, with a particular emphasis on Japanese-built vessels. Additionally, there is a strategic move away from smaller Supramax sizes to larger Kamsarmax and Capesize vessels, increasing its tonnage.
